In the shopping center by campus, called Shoppes at La Salle, there is a Dunkin Donuts right next to the Fresh Grocer

Having successfully worked out Photoshop I will be posting more pictures of the types of food stores that are in the area. These pictures will portray the types of take-out places and food chains in the area and the type of food they sell.

First Assignment

So I went out in the bitter cold and took a few pictures of the local food “area”, shopping center, or the Shoppes at La Salle. Through this experience I learned how much more expensive milk is from soda. At the Fresh Grocer a gallon of milk was over $4 when soda was 3 liters for $3. Also there are many more area’s to buy meals on a day to day basis then there are to grocery shop for the week. The only grocery store is Fresh Grocer but there is a Chinese take-out place called Happy Fortune, a sandwich, hoagie, chicken finger type take out place called The Explores Den, and a Dunkin Donuts all on the same block. In an area like this surrounded by cheap fast food restaurants somebody could get a low nutrition high salt content meal, for the same amount it would cost to pick up a gallon of milk.
